FIAC

I think I like contemporary art. The FIAC was messy as hell and demanding; I needed all my attention and trust to detect something that would resonate with me. I was compelled by that black piece by Magali Daniaux & Cédric Pigot. Good luck with your travels Gaën; I am sure they will make your inner space bigger and allow you to listen differently to the world.

TREE

Yes, I meant family tree. Older branches and new ones, roots supposed to help us grow and become this or that; imaginary characters and tales, explanations for who we are, and habits; blurred identities and predefined paths; great expectations. Storms, and the endless mystery of the repeated mistakes.

LOUISE

It's been 3 months since last time I photographed Louise. As usual I found her in St Germain being totally different, and exactly the same than last time we met. Teenager, woman, rockstar, student, shy, humble, extremely self-assured all at the same time. And I found myself again laughing with her and wondering why I kept needing to photograph her. I felt grateful again; having no definition for the way we relate, and no doubts about the honesty of it all. I guess very special people deserve unique relationships, since there is nothing more important in life.
