So we hugged elephants, discovered a magic tree, swam in the sunset, ate as much as we could, photographed each other, did yoga side by side, followed a squid, and talked so much that you kept doing it while sleeping (...).
Wait. Does life / friendship get any better than that?

We all took a plane to another country and to another life now... I think about those people, up there in that small village, in the hills of northern Thailand. I can visit them and live in their houses and share moments with them, discover the way they live and see their colors; but can we really communicate, if most of them will never have the opportunity to come here, and dive into another world, as I was so lucky to do?

Northern Thailand magic... It made me feel very alive to learn so much, surrounded by people who simply enjoy what they do, and the way they live. Thank you Sunshine Network for the adventure. This morning when checking the contact sheets at the lab in the center of Bangkok, I felt lucky to travel with a camera; sometimes images really save and protects my emotions better than words. More (color) images to come.

Things I liked: following you in the swimming pool and taking all the bees out; moving by your side every morning, and walking under the sun; looking for food and clear waters; talking for hours while driving at night along the sea; meeting and observing people, and trying to know myself when I was knowing you more.

UNTITLED

Photograph taken on the beach after a sunset yoga practice and moments of inner silence. I held the camera for several seconds, and hoped the colors would melt and mix on film, just the way they did before my eyes. Then I came back from Spain, and things had slowly moved and changed in Paris. But I can sit again looking for silence, and the colors are still there.

Sometimes after a storm, the wind suddenly disappears and the water seems softer than ever. There is so much room in this renewed silence -it melts with the ocean itself.
